- 6/22/04 Wire/Story Description: NEW YORK - On Tuesday, June 22, 2004, the 2004 Republican National Convention will hold a news conference in Conway, AR to announce its selection of Virco Manufacturing Corporation as the official producer of delegate chairs. Arkansas Lt. Governor Win Rockefeller, Chairman of the Arkansas Republican Party, will accept the first of 3,000 chairs manufactured by Virco for the convention. Upon completion of the order, the chairs will travel from Arkansas to New York City.
